Grateful For My Years With “Magnificat”

I want to thank Father Philip Nolan, the current editor of Magnificat, for his kind acknowledgment for my work over the past dozen-or-so years writing my monthly column “Great Conversion Stories.” I did indeed write 153 articles, and there are probably not many people who have read them all. I plan to make the whole “collection” available in some kind of easily accessible format (like a print book and/or ebook).

Meanwhile, I shall continue to write here on this BLOG and continue to experiment with other forms of “creative content” in the measure that my health permits. I’m also hoping to give more consistent attention to my larger and ongoing research projects (East Asia Studies, Media Studies, Giussani Studies) wherein I have learned much even though I have (so far) only published a few things.

I will communicate as much as I can regarding numerous important themes, asking the Lord to give me wisdom, strength, and opportunities according to His plan for my vocation in this life — a plan that is mysterious, full of surprises, and always GOOD.
