Here are a few multi-formatted, digitally “sculpted,” stylistically varied images I have been working on this summer. They are based on my original photographs, re-designed using everything but the digital kitchen sink. The technology is growing by leaps and bounds, but I’m still straining toward the same “vision” in my efforts with making these pictures. I want to shape images that hint at (even if only in inadequate or peculiar ways) the inexhaustible beauty that gazes upon me beyond and “through” this mysterious world I live in. Skies and clouds, sometime-sunshine, “blue” mountains, rivers, broken barns, quiet moments.
